Oh the Things Two Year Olds Find

The other day, I got distracted doing something and after a few seconds my room got mysteriously quiet. I looked around the corner to our bathroom and there was my Caidenbug playing in some makeup. I immediately went to get stuff to clean him up but on second thought decided that I needed photographic evidence.

Future Olympian

We have been watching the US Olympic swim trials lately and Caiden is all set that in order to swim you have to wear a hat, i.e. swim cap. I was a little worried because all we could find was one for ages 6 and up. Well we got it anyways and good thing we did because he was invited to a pool party and everyone knows you can't go with out the coolest attire.

Caiden was invited to his first pool party this week for Skyler's birthday. He was so excited for it and talked about it for a week before the actual party. Mike and I unfortunately could not take him, we had to take a tour of the hospital. So Papa and Momma took him to the pool. Reports are that Caiden could have cared less about the cake, presents, and goodie bags but was really excited for swimming in the pool in his new hat.

We were able to join them after our tour and it was just so fun to see Caid in the water. He loved it.

Any Drop of Water

Caiden is obsessed with water and will play like a fish in any drop he finds. He can not walk by a running sprinkler without running through it like a crazy person. So we went to the outdoor mall in Salt Lake and he went nuts. He ran through the fountain and though he fell a dozen times, he could care less.

Stay tuned because Caiden and I have been watching US Olympic Swim Trials and he is going to go to a pool party today. This ought to be good. Oh how my son amuses me!

WAY!TOO!LONG!TO!NOT!POST!

It has been way too long so here is my attempt to catch-up on all the things that have been going on here.

In May, always our craziest month of the year, we took our first major road trip as a family. As some might recall, Caiden was terrible in the car for a long time but he was such a trooper for the drive to Salt Lake. We went out there for Hillary and Josh's wedding. Caid and I had never been there before and it had been a long time since Mike had been there. It was very fun to see all of Mike's family on his mom's side and then the McLaughlin side of the family. We even got to meet Ethan!

Sorry for the overload of pictures but like I said it has been awhile!!!
