Going to Live with Jesus

So my mom and Caiden were talking in her office the other day. He all of a sudden asked where Houdini was, mind you Houdini the Hamster has been dead since August. Grandma preceded to tell Caiden that Houdini went to live with Jesus. Caiden immediately asked, "Like Uncle Matt?" I guess we need to teach him the difference in serving a mission and living for Jesus and dying-living with Jesus.

Snow Day

Caiden has been dying to go in the snow and recently had the chance finally! We went to my parents house and wouldn't you know, I forgot ONE of Caid's gloves. It never fails!! Anyways a pair of socks on his hands worked just fine. He insisted on wearing Papa's ski helmet too. He is now well versed in how to make and throw snowballs and making snow forts.

Christmas 2008

Christmas was so much fun this year. Uncle Mark and Amanda and Uncle Mark and Melissa came to town on Mike's side of the family and my grandparents on the Armstrong side came too. At times I didn't know how it was all going to work out with constantly seeing everybody but it did and that is what matters. Caiden had an absolute blast and was spoiled beyond belief from all involved. I feel so old, some of the things he got are things I never knew about at the age of 2, an MP3 player, a digital camera, a Little Einsteins"laptop, Geotrax." Crazy what technology is available to toddlers now.

We had everyone come to our house on Christmas Eve and then did our own thing here at our house for Christmas morning. We all got matching pjs for Christmas made by yours truly. They turned out very cute, surprisingly! Then we went to my parents house for presents and breakfast and Mike's parent's house for presents and dinner all without a nap in between. Fun times!! Actually Caid did awesome but boy was he tired when we got home Christmas night. Beck, of course, loved all of the attention. It was so fun to see what he got for Christmas when we got home because his aunts held him and helped him open all his gifts, so we didn't get to see it until we got home. I'm still lost on who certain things came from. Adorable alligator blanket and stuffed animal, anyone? Thanks to whomever gave that to him, they are darling. Here are some pictures of the fun.
